The Pittsburgh Steelers will soon be starting the process of paring down their roster from the 90-man offseason group to its 53-man regular season form. This can be a time-consuming process www.steelerscheapshops.com , usually filled with tough decisions. Nonetheless, the team has until 4 p.m. ET Saturday, September 1st to trim its roster down to the 53-man limit. The team will soon begin making moves, and you can keep track of those moves right here in the BTSC tracker. Check back often for updates on NFL cuts, who’s out and who’s in, as the team prepares for the Cleveland Browns in Week 1.Here we go . . .The Steelers to cut R.J. Of the six players held out of training Pittsburgh Steelers Hats , Ben Roethlisberger, Joe Haden and Maurkice Pouncey all appear to have been the beneficiaries of a rest day, as has become customary for each of the veterans this year.As disappointing as it is to note that Darrius Heyward-Bey and Morgan Burnett are still struggling with injuries, it’s encouraging to see both Terrell Edmunds and Vince Williams as full participants in practice. The status of Edmunds was always in doubt after he was listed as an injury concern by Mike Tomlin on Tuesday with an ankle issue, and a hamstring problem for Williams seemed to suggest it might be some time before he was back training. Pittsburgh will be desperate to have either Edmunds or Burnett available in Week 6, given that the remaining options behind them are Jordan Dangerfield and Marcus Allen. The absence of L.J. Fort was somewhat expected — the only other player named by Tomlin as having picked up a new injury in Week 5 — and his status will be one to watch as the week progresses. If Fort cannot play against the Cincinnati Bengals, it seems reasonable to believe Matthew Thomas will see more than the four snaps on defense he saw against Atlanta. The Bengals’ injury report for Wednesday:
